# Install wc-client

Install @joey-wallet/wc-client to connect your dApp to Joey mobile over WalletConnect.

`@joey-wallet/wc-client` wraps WalletConnect (Reown) so you can connect to the Joey mobile app with a few actions. Install it with your package manager:

```bash
pnpm add @joey-wallet/wc-client
```

```bash
npm install @joey-wallet/wc-client
```

```bash
yarn add @joey-wallet/wc-client
```

## Requirements

- **Version:** the latest release is 1.0.4.
- **React:** the React entry point requires React 19 (`react` and `react-dom` ^19).
- **WalletConnect:** wc-client builds on `@walletconnect/universal-provider` and `@reown/appkit`, which it installs for you.
- **A Reown project ID** from the [Reown dashboard](https://dashboard.reown.com/).
